Congratulations on this beautiful video. I love the colors, the lighting, your essence. The looping is so perfect because the viewer is allowed to re-experience the cinematography to get the most out of it. Of course all humans create music. There are so many different music styles to choose from. But American popular music has its roots in the blues. That is not debatable. Any music history book will tell you this. And black American music styles are all about praise and worship. It’s about the spiritual connection we have that comes out thru improvisatory music. And we aren’t the only group of people who improvise. But we have structures that can be learned. I hope you take the time to learn about it so we can praise together.

The original comment made it about race. I didn’t make race an issue at all. Black American Music is an umbrella term used in the same way classical music is used: to describe a cultural style of music based off of certain sounds and ways of playing notes and rhythms. And what’s wrong with talking about how music works? That way we can all enjoy playing and listening to it.
